ij$.$ Convert the temperatures to degrees Celsius. Plot the surface temperatures for the first month of $2015.$ Do not forget to labels axes and give the plot a title. The tutorial uses a Raster$()$ function to plot. That may work, or you may also read up on the image$()$ and filled.contour$()$ functions $-$ they work similar to the base plot function in R$.$ The image function plots the data like a heatmap. The filled.contour$()$ attaches a scale. Additionally, look at how the colour of the map is chosen. $($Another hint, the package RColorBrewer has a nice palette of colours designed for plots like heatmaps.$)$
