More information about your Marketing Plan assignment (to assist you in making your choice) This information is also provided in your syllabus: The Marketing Plan should be 15-20 pages typed, double-spaced with appropriate footnotes, tables and references/bibliography, plus any necessary appendices and graphics. The Marketing Plan will be a thorough analysis of an organization's current situation (including environmental factors) and be based on the nature and extent of demand for your product / service and the analysis of the variables impacting the target market. A SWOT analysis will also be completed, focusing on the opportunities and threats faced, as will a plan for the successful achievement of the marketing objectives through management of the 5 Ps of marketing. You must consider alternative marketing strategies and use some clear criteria to evaluate the strategies and make your final recommendation. Specifically, this project will include creation of a strategic marketing plan for a new or existing company utilizing course concepts - including, but not limited to the following: External & Customer Analysis Identify major segments, motivations, and unmet needs Competitor Analysis Identify existing competition, potential competitors, and strategic groups What are their sales, share, and profits?
