In Chapter $10,$ Persuasive Messages, you're learning about tone, style, and the key parts of persuasive messages. This week's discussion is all about the sample messages in Chapter $10,$ because there is a great deal to be learned from examples in writing.

Monday$$Wednesday: Please discuss the messages in Figures $10\mathrm{.}2$ and $10\mathrm{.}3.$

Wednesday$$Friday: Please discuss the messages in Figures $10\mathrm{.}4$ and $10\mathrm{.}5.$

Friday$$Sunday: Please discuss the messages in Figures $10\mathrm{.}12$ and $10\mathrm{.}13.$

As you examine each set of messages, you'll see that there is a less effective version and a more effective version of a persuasive email. When you look at each message, please review all of the items we've discussed so far this session.

What is the subject line? Is it specific and clear?

How is the document design $($white space, paragraphs long or short, lists, images$/$graphics$,$ and so on$)?$ Are the elements effectively used? Why or why not?

And for the most important part: the messaging. How is the message developed? Does the author use an indirect or a direct approach? Why?
