In milestone one, I decided it would be essential to use incremental innovation for my company, as we strategize finding ways to save costs and minimize risks. This would be great for my company because we can see the up trends and patterns in our profit from our previous work but would like to secure our future market and build as well. This would be very conducive working with upper level management in small teams to assemble together a bulletproof system for maximized innovation.

I believe incremental innovation would be the safest bet for my company because we are only in the beginning of our journey and have already found ways to consistently increase our market share, expand, and flourish using the stage gate process.

This allows my company to adhere to the smaller details and fine print while we work through different sections of the business to implement the changes necessary, providing the perfect climate for innovation. We strive for consistency, longevity, and hope to meet the demands of our current market by adding to our current models.

One important theme of this course is the need for most companies to innovate on a regular basis or risk falling behind their competitors. The same can be said for employees.
