UPS(United Parcel Service) Is a logistical company whose main service is the pick-up and delivery of packages commercially and residential as well. Established in 1907 for a mere $100 and has been around ever since and is now worth over $100 Billion dollars. UPS main headquarters settled in Atlanta, Georgia after relocating from NYC. UPS provides a few different services to include shipping globally with sea, land or air abilities, packaging, labeling, printing, and mailboxes. UPS moves over 24 million packages daily which requires a logistical service to track all of the shipments from an overnight letter to freight weighing hundreds of pounds.

Having the technology, like UPS does, puts UPS in a position that might get hacked by hackers. Having this type of technology could cause a hacker to breack into your system and hold it for ransom or even shut you down. Everything UPS does requires technology. Need it to scan packages when picked up and delivered, need it in warehouses to keep the packages moving in the right direction, track all packages to see where they are in route, it allows customers to track their packages also. Now if UPS system was hacked it could cause the company to lose millions of dollars in a day. UPS technology is what keeps them going, without it they would come to a stand still.
