In my management accounting book, there are 5 steps to budgeting. I just want to connect in real life work scenarios as there are not many examples in the book and just one big case in a big multinational company. But really, can you share :

 

• state a brief description of the company (so I can better understand the budget inputs you used, the process, etc.)
• how inputs are evaluated into the budget
• detail what is done to prepare the budget and
• how a budget to actual variance analysis is done, including conclusions reached and any recommendations made as a result.

Please provide details (e.g. number of times a task is performed for the whole budget cycle) and include specific examples of the analysis.
