In regards to developing a growth plan, my peer submitted that his idea of a growth plan is to have a long$-$term vision coupled with S$.$M$.$A$.$R$.$T goals to help measure progress along the way. According to him, the SMART method helps push you further, gives you a sense of direction, and helps you organize and reach your goals." $($CFI$,2022).$ One crucial thing that he has learnt through creating this growth plan for himself was that it is important to revisit your long$-$term vision on a regular basis and modify your goals to be able to achieve success. According to my peer, he also helped to facilitate growth plans for the people managers on his team and he has found the GROW model to be highly effective in helping facilitate, coach, and mentor them. The GROW model is a framework that helps structure and facilitate growth in our own self$-$development and when coaching and mentoring others.$$

In regards to how you measure success, my peer submitted the following$-$Impact Making an impact on my team and the business by streamlining and innovating our way of working today, which can be measured by an increase in annual profits. Employee Engagement and Retention I believe that we can achieve the highest success with a consistently engaged and satisfied team. This kind of consistent success is not built overnight but through constant efforts to ensure that my team is motivated to deliver results. This can be measured using KPIs such as Employee Engagement Index and Employee Retention Rate. Work$-$Life Balance For me$,$ one of the secrets to happiness is to tightly couple my professional success with my personal success of being present in the lives of my family and friends and a good work$-$life balance helps achieve that. $$
