In regards to developing a growth plan, my peer submitted that his idea of a growth plan is to have a longterm vision coupled with SMART goals to help measure progress along the way. According to him, the SMART method helps push you further, gives you a sense of direction, and helps you organize and reach your goals." CFI One crucial thing that he has learnt through creating this growth plan for himself was that it is important to revisit your longterm vision on a regular basis and modify your goals to be able to achieve success. According to my peer, he also helped to facilitate growth plans for the people managers on his team and he has found the GROW model to be highly effective in helping facilitate, coach, and mentor them. The GROW model is a framework that helps structure and facilitate growth in our own selfdevelopment and when coaching and mentoring others.

WorkLife Balance For me one of the secrets to happiness is to tightly couple my professional success with my personal success of being present in the lives of my family and friends and a good worklife balance helps achieve that.
