Improve your ability to listen. Trying to anticipate the "next question" runs the risks of tuning the interviewer out.

Improve your non$-$verbal communications. Try to have the same type of positive body language as those conducting the interview.

Create a dialogue instead of just responding to questions. "Waiting" for the next question often creates awkward pauses and doesn't feel conversational.
