In this course, you will learn to plan instruction through an interdisciplinary and culturally responsive lens by connecting your lesson planning to researched best practices. This project is a key assessment that will be submitted to both Canvas and LiveText upon completion. Your project is a 20-day interdisciplinary instructional unit plan that is content-focused and connects various disciplines or subject areas across the curriculum. Your unit plan will consist of twenty separate lesson plans that instruct the unit from beginning to end. The the first ten days' lesson plans will be in full lesson plan format and the final ten days will be in horizontal planning chart format (i.e., block-style plans). This project is divided into smaller pieces, or assignments, to be submitted across the term.
