While watching Wyatt, he plays with the rocks and everything else that's on the table. He's more Determined on filling other objects with rocks and dumped them back into the bucket. He repeats it over and over and Draco helps him fill them. This type of play is functional play. I believe that Wyatt loves the sound of all the rocks falling so he keeps repeating it just to hear it over and over. The Theorist that relates the most is Erickson. Erickson believed that through observation of patterns that caregivers can anticipate and can't respond appropriately. The caregiver was there by their side, she anticipated that something would happen. She turned her back to attend to another child and that's when Wyatt took the opportunity to drop rocks on the floor.
