If SmartSim is unstable on your computer or you are familiar with any other tool such as Quartus, you may use the tool of your choice to complete this project. Quartus lite (free edition) can be downloaded from the vendor (Intel). Note there are online logic circuit design/simulation tools such as circuitverse.org can be also used to complete this project. No matter what tool you use, be sure to start your project as soon as you can and save your project frequently. Complete the following steps and electronically submit both circuit design and its timing diagram via Canvas course website: 1. Design 2-bit rollback counter, which continuously count 00, 01, 10, 11 in binary and repeat. 2. Simulate the completed design to generate a timing diagram. In your timing diagram, you need to show three waveforms for two counter bits and clock. Make sure to run the simulation to show the first eight counts - 00, 01, 10, 11, 00, 01, 10 and 11.
