1. Use information from the heineken organisation that was used as the case study for assignment1. If it is not possible, select an organisation that will allow you to base assignment 2 on.
Apply the principles of value chain analysis to analyse the system with a few to identify the weak points in the system. Your analysis should be robust, and the weak points identified in the system should be based on the analysis. Dont state weak points that may be seen as a best guess. The analysis should be done in a way that the weak points identified is clear to someone who does not know your system. (40 marks)
2.Use the principles of the Theory of Constraints (TOC) to link all the weak points identified in question 1. Attempt to analyse the system in more depth (using TOC principles) to identify one weakest link. This will be the one problem that arguably causes the other weak points to exist. Using all the steps suggested in the TOC, recommend solutions that will probably eradicate the weakest link and put the organisation on a road of ongoing improvement. (40 marks)
3. Make use of the answers you provided in Question 1& 2 to discuss how will you drive Service Excellence of the selected organisation? (20 Marks)
