Individually, you will compose a $1-2$ page persuasive letter to a perspective investor $($someone to provide your new product$/$service with financial backing you must use the idea you came up with for your group project$)$ for your start up venture and submit to me as your "midterm exam". Then as a GROUP you will share your letters and pick the one letter $($out of the whole group$)$ you think best represents your groups needs$/$request$,$ assessing via the FAIR test.

You must follow the $3$ step writing process for persuasive messages as highlighted in Chapter $10$ of the course textbook $($pg$.297).$ There are some good examples to review within the chapter to assist you in your writing. Make sure you choose an appropriate investor $($example: Derek Jeter for Athletic or Fitness ventures or Gordon Ramsey for Restaurant$/$Hospitality ventures$)$ for your proposition.

This letter MUST be in CORRECT LETTER FORMAT, as shown in your text book $($Appendix B$,$ pg$.560,$ Figure B$\mathrm{.}2$ and B$\mathrm{.}3).$

This is a formal business letter. Make sure to check sentence structure, grammar and formatting. Please review APPENDIX A for grammar tips and APPENDIX B for formatting for letters.
