1. Insert a 3-column table in your assignment response document (use the Table tool in the Insert function of Word), or create a separate sheet in Word, Excel, or PowerPoint. Create a TQC workstation instruction sheet that describes (from left to right) the successive inspection task, workstation value-adding task, and self-inspection task. You may copy/paste the sketch (below).

• The workstation value adding task is to drill four diameter holes (one at a time) in (through) an aluminum plate (Part # 201-42). There must not be any burrs left on the top or underside of the plate. If there are burrs, the operator must scrape them off with a hand tool.
• The upstream supplier workstation has the task of drilling six holes in other locations on the aluminum plates, and these also must be free of burrs. Hole locations are determined by a drill jig that guides the drill bit, so no dimensions are shown.
