INSTRUCTIONS:

Open a new document in Notepad++ and save it as YOURLASTNAMEfavorites.html.

Follow the steps below to complete the assignment.

STEP 1:

Write the doctype declaration for HTML5 and add the opening and closing tags.

STEP 2:

Add the opening and closing tags inside of the tags.

STEP 3:

Inside of the head, add tags for each of the following:

The character set used.

The author of the page.

STEP 4:

Add a title to your head. The title for your page should be My Favorite Things.

STEP 5:

Add tags between the tag and the html> tag.

STEP 6:

Inside of the body, add a heading that reads My Favorite Things.

STEP 7:

, create a paragraph that reads This is a list of my favorite [songs, movies, sports, etc.].

STEP 8:

Add a horizontal rule.

Create an ordered list of your favorite things.

NOTE: You must have a minimum of 5 favorite things.

Place your html file and your validation PDF in a folder called YOURLASTNAME_favorites.

STEP 13:

ZIP the folder and submit it to the Dropbox.
