Introduction: Mind mapping is a creative method to map out your ideas. It begins with one common concept and branches out into other concepts while still relating to the common concept. Mind maps are useful for creative thinking and brainstorming and can also be used to check your knowledge. Through the process of mind mapping, it can transform a long list of ideas into an organized diagram, it can help you understand and remember key concepts and assist with connecting concepts together. Mind maps typically start in the center of a "page" and extend outward to the edge of the page with diagrams, explanations, and key terms, arrows, etc.

How to Draw a Mind Map:

1. Start in the middle of a blank page, writing, drawing the main topic, Professional Selling.
2. Develop the related subtopics around this central topic, connecting each of them to the center with a line, arrow, etc
3. Repeat the same process for the subtopics and extend them with other subtopics and continuing to create connections (like branches).

Some other helpful hints:

• Do not be afraid to use colors, pictures printed from the internet that relate to or from newspapers and other media
• Keep the topic labels short and brief, it should just be a keyword that can expand to subtopics
• Vary text size, color, and alignment
• You don't have to be an artist, have fun with the assignment
