Issues plaguing probation, parole and intermediate sanctions

1. Develop a scenario related to the category that you have selected for the discussion. Provide a summary of the incident that displays an issue within this aspect of the criminal justice system.
2. Identify the member of the criminal justice system who would encounter the issue. Describe the types of issues that would arise based on the incident and the current limitations that the first responder or other criminal justice professional would encounter when attempting to respond to the incident.
3. Assess the type of resources and approach you believe will be necessary to resolve the issue. Begin by categorizing the issue. Does the issue fit into one or more of the following categories: manpower allocation, communication, training, technical tools, funding, legislation, community support or other?
