It is required to develop an expert system to assist in designing tables. The design task needs design parameters such as the table type $($coffee$,$ dining, or computer$),$ the size of the table $($small$,$ medium, or large$),$ and the shape of the table $($rectangular$,$ square, or circular$)$ to propose an initial design. The initial design includes the height and dimension$($s$)$ of the tabletop. The initial design is to be refined according to the available area in which the table will be used. For example, if the table is for dining and it is rectangular, the width of the usage area must be at least triple the table width and the length of the room must be at least $2\mathrm{.}5$ times the length of the table. If these constraints are violated and the table size is large, then the table size must be demoted to medium. If the constraint violated was the length constraint, then the shape of the table could also be changed to square or circular based on customer satisfaction and keeping its size as large. Similar constraints can be formulated for the coffee table or computer table based on their usage areas. Use the KADS Methodology to model the knowledge needed to achieve this task.
