Java GUI program

Introduction:

1. An application for finding the total amount of an account after some years is examined.

2. This application calculates the amount of money in your savings account based on the initial amount of money in the account, the interest rate and the number of years the money remains on deposit.

3. Users specify the initial amount of money in the account, the annual interest rate and the # of years

4. The application then displays the amount of money you will have on deposit at the end of each year of that time

5. The amount of money on deposit at the end of the nth year is given by the following formula from the Financial Mathematics:

a = p(1+ r) ⁿ where :

p : is the initial amount of money

r : is the actual interest rate

n : is the # of years

It is asked:

- To create this medium size swing application which can be used for many other financial purposes as well .

We will use:

1. The JTextField in order to insert the # of years (you can use also for this purpose the JSpinner component in order to obtain a specified input range of values)

2. Add scrollbars to a JTextArea by placing the component inside a JScrollPane in order the user has the ability to see the increase of the amount for a many years

3. A Button for the calculation.
