Joe Smith is a coder at Sunset Hospital. He uses a wheelchair due to paralysis of his legs. In the HIM Department that he works in employees do not have their own workstations, but sit at whatever workstation is available when they enter the department. Joe has asked for either a designated workstation or to have ten additional minutes for lunch breaks since when he returns from lunch he has to go to each workstation to find one that is open. It is a big department...with $25$ workstations, so depending on the location of an available workstation, it can take him awhile to find one open. His manager denies both requests and subsequently terminates Joe for habitually returning to work from lunch late.
