The software will be used in the engineering conguration and will congured once purchased. As stated on page 412 of the Wiegers text, I will consider the extension and integration requirements of the software. Prior to purchase, I will need to conrm the software is compatible with and can be connected to the current server and that all other existing software's can coexist with the new REVIT software linked to the system, thus fully integrated. More importantly, I will need to conrm that the REVIT software is capable of having multiple extensions added to enhance the engineering design process at my rm. We use custom tools and symbols as a company and there needs to be a means of adding those tools as an extension to the REVIT software.
