Eventually, after being constantly told that she had excellent potential and was developing into a great artist $-$ when in fact she was not developing artistically and had no aptitude for art $-$ she ended up purchasing over $2,000$ hours of classes for over $$30,000.$ When it became clear to Kelli she was not developing her painting skills, in part because of sight issues, she sued the studio.
