Key elements of a case study include a Problem, a Solution, and a Result. Keeping these elements in mind, read Facilitating Team Learning through Transformational Leadership. Then, watch Simon Sinek's TED Talk focusing on the importance of psychological safety in the workplace and consider the organizational culture of the companies he mentions (Next Jump: http://www.nextjump.com/culture/, Barry Wehmiller: https://www.barrywehmiller.com/our-culture, Southwest: https://careers.southwestair.com/). Select one of the companies and identify the following:
How does transformational leadership influence employee psychological safety? How does this leadership style create solutions to common workplace issues (team cohesion, team or individual learning, desire for increased creativity, innovation, autonomy, etc.?)
Describe a problem identified by the company (workplace burnout, profit became more important than people, etc.) Have you ever experienced this problem first-hand? What was that like?
Consider the company you identified and describe the result of their unique organizational culture and transformational leadership efforts.
