Each assignment should include a discussion and analysis of one leadership approach/style and the related self-reporting completed assessment found at the end of each chapter. You will choose the three assessment(s)/concept(s) you want to report on. Each of the week's assessment papers should follow the format as described below:

Related Leadership Approach/Style Description [Limit this section to 150 words or less]

Describe the concept related to the assessment that is being completed. This section is about the approach, not the assessment. Compare and contrast this approach in relation to others and completely describe it.

Assessment Results and Analysis

Describe the results of the assessment. There is usually an interpretation at the end of the assessment that can be used to report results. Discuss and ANALYZE these results including what was expected, what was surprising, what was revealed. Remember that the assessments you perform for yourself should be accurate, unless you have not been completely candid and honest when completing the assessment.

Most of this section should be the analysis of your results. Be brief and concise when reporting the actual results. Remember, I know the assessment formats, etc., so therefore, you should not "explain" anything about the assessment itself.

Application of Assessment

Discuss how the results of the assessment are apparent in your leadership style or in the style of someone else if you assessed someone else. Describe how the concept is used or not used (giving examples throughout) and what observations could be made about the leader being assessed in relation to the related approaches/styles.

All of this section should be discussion of how you show up or not, as a leader in relation to this approach and your results, with many examples.

Action Plan

Describe the improvement you can make in your leadership style related to the assessment or recommend improvement in the subject leaders. Be specific and use actionable language. Use bullet points when appropriate to explain exactly what actions you need to take and then back those up with paragraphs regarding "how" you will execute your action plans.
