Leadership Behavior Description E: You need to make major changes to your Department, and know the key roles needed and tasks to be accomplished. You also have taken time to listen to your employees, and have learned what really motivates each of them. You match the roles/tasks you need addressed to individual motivations- knowing this will drive "buy-in". Applying the same basic principle (win-win; WIFM), you also work to understand the motivations of your Boss and peer-managers (e.g. what their reviews, raises or next promotion will be based on) and craft win-wins so that by doing what you need them to, they help reach their own goals
