Learning Activity 1 Effective Project Management: Project Manager for an Election Campaign

This Learning Activity for campus class will be a debate between two groups to be formed in class. One debating group (The Proponents) will articulate and advance the approaches to be used in building their team for the election campaign in support of the mayoral candidate.

They will include the leadership style to be used, identify the type of roles to be filled and the kinds of people to use used to ensure the successful delivery of the project. The other group (The Opponents) will be provided time to review and develop a critique of the proposition of the proponents. Whereas, the proponents will outline strategies to be used to build strong foundation of trust and respect among their project team members, the opponents will identify loop holes to counter the claims of the proponents.
