  1. Watching yourself communicating and conducting self-reflection are effective ways to learn communication skills. Record yourself having a conversation with someone else or in front of a mirror [for no longer that 3-4 minutes] explaining what effective communication is and the importance of communication to project success. Then watch the recording and observe your verbal and nonverbal communication. Reflect on what you did well and what you can focus on improving.
  2. If you feel comfortable, upload a link to your video and have your peers comment on it. If you are not comfortable about uploading your video, simply post your reflection after watching your video. If you upload it to YouTube, make sure it is saved as unlisted video.
