• Create your own company/logo which you can use as letterhead.
• Craft a letter to a clientthis can be a fictious name/company name, and full postal address.
• Create a scenario for the good/neutral news that you will be conveying.
• Format should be similar to the one that is on p. 152 of your text (make sure you include all components).
• Pay attention to:
  • Formatting (include all parts of the letter)
  • Spell check and grammar check
  • Be mindful of punctuation (particularly with abbreviations such as those found in addresses).
  • Make sure you place the message strategically (i.e., direct vs. indirect).
  • Remember that the tone of a business letter should be somewhat formal.
