This experiment will investigate either the effect of pH, temperature, substrate concentration, or a competitive inhibitor on the rate of this enzyme catalyzed reaction. Remember that a good experiment will test only one variable while all the other variables are controlled. Your lab will follow the formal lab write up criteria. Be sure to include a purpose which is a clear statement of the question (your problem), a hypothesis (what you think should happen - not necessarily what does), a materials list of any reagents (liver, hydrogen peroxide) and/or equipment you will use (safety glasses), a description of the possible procedure (step by step instructions) including a suitable control, and an explanation of how you would report your findings to your peers. Would it be a data table? Whatever variable you choose for your experiment be sure to use a full range of tests. For exomple, if I were to test the effects of temperature I would run the experiment at 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50 degrees Celsius. If I was going to test is pH affects the reaction, I would ensure a range of pH levels would be encountered. Remember that is a design for an experiment - you are NOT actually doing the experiment.
