LT$-10.$ For the $75ft.$ long concrete piles $(16$ inch by $16$ inch in cross$-$section$)$ that is fully embedded as friction piles in sand $($driven to its full length$).$ Calculations have been made to estimate the vertical movement of the pile during a pile load test $($see below table$).$

Use both the Davidson method and the B$/10$ method to determine the total acceptable ultimate load, based on settlement criteria. Then determine the allowable design load. Compare these ultimate and allowable loads to those based only on capacity calculations.
