Brainstorm ways that you can do positive actions this week that positively affect someone else. Come up with a script between two people on how to approach the sad person to show a caring attitude, empathy, and willingness to help. (Keeping in mind prosocial behaviour - always acting in a positive direction toward someone else).

I chose:

  • You are trying to help someone who is afraid to speak or perform in front of other people. This is what I wrote so far. I am having trouble starting off the script. Can someone help with this part? Prosocial behaviours refer to voluntary actions intended to improve the well-being of another person. Some ways to incorporate this behaviour to positively affect someone else are: - Empathize and Listen. Make an impact by using emotional intelligence through empathy and listening. - Acknowledge and Inspire Someone into Action. - Share our Knowledge and Skills with Others. - Comforting them and ensuring they feel safe.
