MCAT PROJECT MEASURE PHASE TECHNICAL REPORT Create a professionally formatted technical report (format up to you) to your supervisor communicating the results of the Measure Phase of Projectile LLCs process improvement project. Be consistent with the story that you started to tell with the Define Phase report. If you positioned yourself as an employee of Projectile LLC, stick with that. If you positioned yourself as an outside consultant, stay consistent with that point of view. Professional formatting and technical writing skills will be considered as part of the grade. The key is how well did you communicate your results to your colleagues? Your report should contain the following: Executive summary of your progress. Should contain all the critical points in the report but in condensed format. Much like an abstract. The results of your preliminary baseline analysis before your measurement systems analysis was conducted. The reasons for, methods and results of your measurement system analysis. Discuss what changes were made to the measurement system, why you made them and report on your assessment of their effectiveness. The results of your post-MSA capability analysis of the system. What conclusions did you draw? (what story did the data tell) Conclusions. Discuss the overall outcome of the Measure phase and make some preliminary recommendations for the next steps in the project.
