MODEL GAP ANALYSIS AND ROADMAP

The board has decided to implement and migrate some of their business, applications, and technologies. This week's first task is to read the description below and model it using the ArchiMate language.

The current plateau is the Baseline architecture in 2022, and the final Target Architecture is for completion in 2024. Your task is to identify one other plateau to reach this target architecture. Between each of the architectures, you will need to determine the gaps.

The implementation event Approval of Digital Uplift triggers the first work package in the process of the New CRM System work package; this can then allow for the second work package of New Online Magazine System work package. The entire process for the New CRM System work package consists of four work packages that trigger in a sequential order:

Planning and Analysis

Design and Development

Testing

Deployment

The Approval of Initiative implementation also triggers a Scoping Statement deliverable, which is an input (as a directed association relation) for the first work package Planning and Analysis in the New CRM System work package.

The deliverable from the Planning and Analysis work package is a Requirements Document; this document is part of the realisation of a Plateau. The deliverable from the Design and Development work package is the code being developed; this is then realised as the Online Magazine Application, an Application Component, which is an aggregation relation to a Plateau. The deliverable from the Testing work package is the Testing Documentation deliverable; this document is part of the realisation of a Plateau. The first deliverable from the Deployment work package is Deployed Hardware; this is then realized as a New Server node, which has an aggregation association with a Plateau. The second deliverable from the Deployment work package is a Revised Business Process this is realised via a business process New Customer has an aggregation association with a Plateau.

You are to design the steps for the New Online Magazine System work package, noting any assumptions you have made.
