$7-$ A carpenter grasps a carpenter's square from $3$ steps away, returns and measures the profile of one corner of a crate. He then asides the square within reach.

$8-$ Obtain a wrench, interlocked with other tools, within reach at the machine and loosen a nut with $5$ wrist$-$strokes and aside the wrench to a bench $4$ steps away.

$9-$ An operator gets a cloth from his pocket and wipes the surface of a metal sheet $(0\mathrm{.}5sq.$ ft$.)$ and returns it to his pocket.

$10-$ A supervisor picks up a pen on the desk, sits down in a chair $($making adjustments to position the chair$)$ and signs her name on a check, then lays the pen $1$ inch away.
