NUMMI Case Study (The audio case study is posted in D2L in learning module #6) In 1984, General Motors (GM) and Toyota opened NUMMI as a joint venture in California The venture was dissolved and the NUMMI plant was finally closed after GM declared bankruptcy in 2009. After listening to the material (approx 60 min), write a report (there is no word limit) regarding causes of GM's failure to introduce the lessons learnt from the NUMMI venture across other factories in the GM network.
