Now that we have some experience reading a topographic map, let's look at creating our own contour lines. Review the elevations represented in feet above sea level on the next page. Using an erasable pencil begin connecting the contours of the same interval (think connect-the-dots). There is some creative licensing required here on this exercise because you have not visited the site to make an accurate map. Try to be as neat as possible. If needed, you can print out another copy to try again.
