Example Problem Situations:

• The hospital is close to a military base, but it currently does not accept Tricare insurance.
• The nursing home is not Medicare or Medicaid certified.
• The assisted living facility is private pay only and has to turn away patients with insurance and/or Medicare.

Choose one of the problems above and address it using the steps of problem solving

Include the following in text:

1. An introduction describing and explaining your problem (why is it a problem?)

2. The completed chart below

3. An analysis of how well the problem solving steps work to address your problem

4. A conclusion addressing the question: Using this technique and your application of it, how quickly and effectively can this problem be solved?
