up IP addresses, configuring routing protocols, and managing switch ports.

Instructions:

Complete the following tasks using Cisco Packet Tracer or a similar network simulation

tool. Provide the necessary commands and configuration details for each task.

Part $1$: Router Configuration

$1.$ Initial Setup:

$$ Set the hostname to Router$1.$

$$ Set the enable secret to cisco$123.$

$2.$ Interface Configuration:

$$ Configure the GigabitEthernet$0/0$ interface with the IP address

$192\mathrm{.}168\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}1/24.$

$$ Configure the GigabitEthernet$0/1$ interface with the IP address

$192\mathrm{.}168\mathrm{.}2\mathrm{.}1/24.$

$3.$ Routing:

$$ Enable RIP routing protocol.

$$ Advertise the networks $192\mathrm{.}168\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}0$ and $192\mathrm{.}168\mathrm{.}2\mathrm{.}0.$

$4.$ Save the Configuration:

$$ Save the running configuration to the startup configuration.
