2-a. Select a relatively simply procedural task that you feel you could successfully train another person to do. This task should consist of more than 5 steps but less than 10 steps (general guideline could be a few more or one less). This should be a task you yourself have fully mastered either as part of your current or previous job, or a task specific to a hobby in which you have developed a level of expertise (a hobby you have both a depth of knowledge and mastery of many related skills).

Using the first part planning tool (refer to Step 1) first (a) list the steps of the procedural task; then (b) define the criteria for determining if the task has been successfully completed (what indicators or measures will both you, as the trainer, and the person doing the task use to determine, without a doubt, that the task has been correctly completed without error?); then (c) identify any safety concerns/precautions the person doing the task needs to be aware of; and finally (d) list the tools and materials/supplies required to do the task.
