Orange Computers has a factory in Kansas where it assembles desktops, as well as processes laptops received from an Asian manufacturer. This problem is based upon a simplified process flow of this factory.

The factory faces a steady daily demand for 10,000 laptops 5,000 desktop. The factory operates one shift of 8 hours each day and has enough inventory to meet all the demand. Desktop orders go through three stages: Assembly, Burn, and Packing. Laptop orders go through two stages: Burn and Packing. These stages having the following features:

• Assembly (Desktops Only): There are 400 stations each of which assembles one desktop in 30 minutes. The stations work independently.
• Burn (Laptops & Desktops): There are 600 stations. Each of the stations writes the software on the computer hard disk, also called a Burn.
