Organizing Example for Constraint Satisfaction Problem You are organizing the sports club. Today, 7 people came in, but they can't decide which activities to attend to, and they ask you to plan it. 4 Activities: Tennis, Golf, Basketball, Football 7 People (participants): X1,X2, ..., X7 Further Notes: - Tennis and Golf is played with 1 person, whereas Basketball and Football can either be played with 1 or 2 people. - Not all of the activities need to take place, which of the activities are going to take place depends on the constraints. - If a participant is on their own (odd numbered and not within a group), they can also take part in a group activity (basketball or football) with strangers. - Every participant can attend to at most 1 activity. They would be assigned to the activity they prefer by default if there are no additional statements. Constraints: - Nobody wants to attend to an activity with strangers. - X1 and X2 are friends. They want to attend to an activity which they can do together. - Golf is popular, so only 2 spaces left today. - X3 does not know how to play basketball, and he does not want to be alone. Otherwise, he won't attend to any activity. - X1 and X4 are friends such that they want to participate in the same activity or not participate at all. - X5 has a passion for tennis, so she either chooses tennis or nothing. - If X6 participates in an activity, he is okay with all except for tennis. - X7 does not want to be in the same program with X6, neither does he want to stay at the bench with him (where both do not participate in any activity).
