number is used to identify the position. Other information includes job title, job description, department, degree requirement, skill requirements, starting date. There are two

types of positions: long$-$term and short term. Long term positions are more stable with an annual base salary and number of vacation days. Short term positions are paid by

hours. Following are examples of these position.

In addition to open positions, I also need to keep track of applicants, and which position they apply for. From each applicant, I record applicant's lastname, firstname, address, and

highest degree.
