Part C: Thunderstorm Electric Fields Thunderstorm clouds generate large electric fields both in the clouds and between the clouds and the ground. 1. Use the Web to search for information on thunderstorms in order to find out: what the typical charge distribution looks like and V what the E-fields in these clouds looks like. Describe briefly how the charge structure in thunderclouds develops. 2. Also find about how an electric field is set up between the earth and the cloud if no charge initially flows between the cloud and the earth (i.e. before lightning strikes). Include a discussion of the above and include sketches to answer the above questions. This should be at least one page long. Be sure to list any source and references you use
