Part One: Problem Statement A local thobe manufacturing facility works for 16-hours a day in two different shifts (8-hours) per shift. The facility produces different product. A quality engineer has recently joined the company, and he was assigned for item number 512. This item is produced in mass quantities. The facility produces on average 90 thobes per day of this item. For this item, ideally the length should be 140 cm, and the customer can accept a tolerance of 2 cm.
