Pivot Table: The layout area for the Pivot Table is divided into separate outlined drop areas: Row Fields, Column Fields, Data Items. Dragging Fields from the Pivot'Iable Field List and dropping them into each of these areas will result in the creation of a Pivot Table. Pivot Table Field List: The Pivot Table Field list is essentially a list of the variables contained in your data set. Each column in the data has become a field with the same name. Dragging fields from the field list and dropping them onto the layout area is how you will create a PivotTable. IF THE PIVOT TABLE FIELD LIST DISAPPEARS, you can click anywhere on the Pivot Table and it will reappear. If you still don't see the field list, while the Pivot Table is activated, click the Options tab on the PivotTable Tools (The tab should appear when the Pivot Table is activated.) Then, check Field List
