The current conflict that Apple has been dealing with on and off since 2015, is the San Bernardino Attack and the shooting at Pensacola Naval Air Station in December 2019. When the FBI took over the investigation in both cases they came upon a clue, and found out that in the terrorist attacks committed the criminals were using iPhones to work together, the FBI asked the companies CEO of Apple Tim Cook to help recover information from the iPhones, but Tim Cook refused to tap in the encryption system but, did hand over all the data in their possession, including iCloud data, but it is impossible for it to bypass its own encryption and gain access to the devices. In these cases the conflict has reached to the point of legal action in the Federal Courts and has been called Apple Vs. the FBI. In the 2015, San Bernardino shooting the judge asked Apple to provide reasonable technical assistance to the U.S. authorities, which would require Apples team of programmers to rewrite the software used by Apple, this new software would give the FBI a master Key to all iPhones and to the overhaul the system that disables the phones after various unsuccessful password attempts, once this feature kicks in, all the data on the phone is inaccessible. At the time, Apple chief executive Tim Cook explained that it would be like making a master key with the ability to have unlimited access to any iPhone and same master key could have the potential to end up in the hands of criminals also the access requested by the FBI could give them the ability to have the advantage over the general public (Kharpal, 2016). In this case was no team put together at the time but how Apple structures their work culture
