Assignment 2 - Self-Service Motivations (Chapter )) "Self-service" is when there is no human involved in providing a service. For example, pumping your own gasoline at a self-service station instead of going to a full service one where someone would pump the gas for you. From your personal experience, think of three different situations where you used customer self-service instead of a full service option. For each of the three situations, answer the following questions using concise business language: 1. Briefly describe the situation you were in, the choices you had, and what you decided to do. 2. Explain what all of your motivations were for using the self-service option. Be clear about your motivations. Why didn't you have someone serve you? 3. Explain which one of your motivations was the strongest, and why. Was it the determining factor in your choice? Do you think others would feel the same in a similar situation? 4.
