In this Module, we are learning about sustainable development (a.k.a. sustainability), global environmental challenges, and the connections between business and the natural environment. One of the concepts we explored this week is carrying capacity, which can be measured by calculating our ecological footprint. Please go to the Ecological Footprint Calculator and answer the questions to calculate your ecological footprint. Based on your results and the information from Chapter 9, answer the following questions: a. What is carrying capacity? And why should we be concerned about it? b. Based on your ecological footprint, what could you do to reduce your impact on the natural environment? Please note that, unless you want to, you do not need to share your results when answering this question. c. Why is the concept of carrying capacity important for business?
