(b) On 8 March 2014, the world was shocked by the news that a Malaysian airline flight MH370, during a scheduled flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, has lost contact with air traffic control. The incident of the Malaysian airline flight MH370 is a tragic calamity which has left a gasping void in the hearts and minds of the people, especially families who lost their loved ones. Although, the calamity cannot be undone, and no amount of compensation can fill that void left behind, the families of the deceased would generally be entitled to claim compensation. This has had a big impact on the insurer. (i) Based on this situation, comment on actual risks and perceived risks.
