What would you need to consider from an organizational standpoint when rolling out a robotic workforce? Could it be accomplished in a weekend? What considerations would you need to make for the employees? Subject: Robots
1. Robots have caught on in manufacturing because they work as humans and protect them from danger in the manufacturing work. Also they help in assembling of objects be it small or large. They also get to know whether the objects have assembled correctly or not.
Skills required are callibration skills, task level programming and so on
2. Yes, robots can replace human workers in manufacturing. Infact it is more safe to have robots in manufacturing because it helps the humans to do other desirable jobs like management, engineering and so on. Robots protect humans from damage as in manufacturing there is a huge risk. Robots work faster than humans and work more efficiently.
3. Issues related to technology would be the efficient technology to be used, latest technology to be used in robots so that they can work efficiently. Robots have limited capacity and if due to technical issues robots are not working then production will hault.
